Moe's Southwest Grill / Focus 

Revitalized the app with a user-centric approach, improving mobile ordering efficiency and elevating the overall brand experience.

Design Challenge

With a fresh rebrand, Moe's new identity needed to be translated into the digital space. This required a deep understanding of their new look and feel, ensuring that the app's visual design seamlessly reflected their updated brand aesthetic while maintaining a user-friendly interface.

Design System

We built a comprehensive design system in Figma, housing everything from primitive components to complex patterns. Figma Tokens was used keep spacing and colors consistent and manageable. We also partnered with an illustrator to bring some playful visuals to the app.

Revamped Rewards

The Moe's rewards program was completely revamped, creating a dedicated hub within the app. This new section features a distinct UI, making it easy for users to track their progress and redeem rewards. Large, enticing food imagery and a custom illustrative badging system add to the fun.

Improved Ordering Experience

We streamlined Moe's mobile ordering process, reducing the number of taps needed to complete an order and strategically incorporating upsell opportunities. The design was also refined for improved scannability, and new features were added to enhance order tracking and the overall user experience.

The Blueprint

This comprehensive redesign significantly elevated the Moe's Southwest Grill app experience, delivering improvements across UX, UI, and overall functionality. The project also served as a valuable blueprint for future app development within the Focus Brands portfolio.
