My name is Edi, some call me Edward, Ed is my father. I’m an art director, designer, illustrator, problem solver, amateur photographer, aspiring writer, and steak-lover. I’ve been doing my thing for over six years now, working for a variety of companies both big and small.


I have a degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Creative Advertising from Virginia Commonwealth University. During my time in school, I landed two internships that didn’t make me fetch coffee. FCB New York was the first agency I interned for where I worked on clients including Oreo, Nivea, Kraft, and Jamaica tourism. The following summer I landed an internship at Pappas Group, a mid-sized agency based in the D.C. area, where I designed logos and collateral for clients including Audi, Hilton, and .CO.


Fast forward after graduation, I receive my first full-time offer at USA TODAY as a graphic designer. A few years later, I returned to New York City as a full-time art director at VML. Luckily I was able to work on big brands including LEGOLAND, Motorola, New Balance, Shiseido, Dell, and NBA. I did everything from conceptual work to production to design. I was involved in 2 Cannes-winning projects, with a total of 4 Silver and 2 Bronze Lions as well as an ADC Young Guns Award for our LEGOLAND Dollars campaign and Quest to LEGOLAND app.

In 2017, I moved to the Philippines where I started as a senior art director for a start-up agency called Gigil. I was exposed to foreign brands and markets where I learned to adjust conceptualization and design. I worked on some international brands like 7-Eleven, Levi's, and Unilever. Some of the local brands I worked on included Cobra, Globe Telecom, and Cashalo. After a couple months, I was promoted to Head of Design where I managed and oversaw a team of art directors.
